TOWNSHIP ENGINEER (P.E.) LOWER TOWNSHIP, CAPE MAY COUNTY. Full Time. Performs difficult professional work involved in design of a variety of public improvement projects and facilities which include AUTOCADD designs and specifications. Provide contractors and general public with technical information relating to engineering projects. Prepare cost estimates for public improvement and public works capital improvements. Perform project management including work progress schedules. Review problems in the field and advise on appropriate corrective measures. Working knowledge of computers, GIS, GeoClient, AASHTO and MUTCD. Thorough knowledge of the construction and maintenance of public improvement projects and land and engineering survey systems, methods and techniques, Municipal Land Use Law, experience as Planning Board and Zoning Board Engineer, stormwater drainage and sanitary sewer design and construction. Possession of an active New Jersey Professional Engineering License. Requires a minimum of 20 years experience in civil engineering work. Graduation from an accredited college with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required. Must possess a valid driver’s license. Excellent benefits. Salary negotiable.
